Our university signed an MOU with the American accelerating company, Usako Group, for the global advancement of college entrepreneurship and exploration of global star entrepreneurs. Usako Group is an accelerating (the business of assisting growth for new start-ups with only entrepreneurship ideas by providing non-core business support such as office space, marketing, and promotions) company with active offices in Saint Louis, Huston, Los Angeles, U.S., and in Seoul.

The Representative of Usako Group Han-yeong Ko announced, “We plan to promote an investment commitment in the scale of 5 million dollars for the purpose of exploring Sookmyung Women's University’s global star entrepreneurs and advancement into the U.S. To receive the U.S. non-profit entrepreneurship aid, Arch Grants (around 1 million dollars per year), we plan to provide active support by establishing a practical cooperative system such as exploration of venture teams and in-depth mentoring with the Sookmyung Women's University’s Entrepreneurship Engagement Foundation.” President Jungai Kang said, “We are committed to becoming a leader of changes and challenges in the entrepreneurial ecosystem by presenting a new paradigm shift in the global advancement and global entrepreneurship of colleges based on our university’s excellent competencies by joining hands with the expert global accelerating company, Usako Group.”
