On August 23^rd, Sookmyung Women＇s University held the 2018 Second Term Commencement Ceremony. The commencement ceremony which began at 11 a.m. was held at the Second Foundation Campus’ Nunggot Square Hall. President Jungai Kang, deans of graduate schools and colleges, academic board, and department deans attended the ceremony to congratulate and encourage the new beginning of the graduates. 

There were a total of 1,252 graduates this year, which included 849 bachelors from 10 colleges and 3 departments, and 403 masters and doctorates. Among the graduates, the honor student award given to students with excellent grades above all were given to 3 students.  

On this day, the undergraduate degree ceremony was held at 11 a.m. at the Second Foundation Campus’ Nunggot Square Hall, whereas the graduate degree ceremony was held at 3 p.m. at the same location. In particular, this graduate degree ceremony was also accompanied by the commencement ceremony for the honorary doctorate of education given to Dongwon Group’s Honorary President Jaecheol Kim.
