The job fair, hosted by Sookmyung Women＇s University’s Career Development Center, was held at the Second Foundation Campus’ Nunggot Square Hall for two days from September 4 ~ 5.

Various companies such as CJ E&M, Amore Pacific, Samsung Securities, and KORAIL participated and held special lectures and briefing sessions at the job fair, as well as setting up counseling booths and holding various side events.  

The job and recruitment counseling service, which consisted of former and current employees who provided answers on questions related to competencies and application tips necessary for each job, had a constant stream of visitors over the course of two days. The counselors provided detailed consulting covering not only large Korean companies, but also foreign companies, public enterprises, and overseas employment. They also shared the latest employment information and analytic data on employment trends.

In addition, the Career Development Center attracted the attention of participants by setting up a VR mock interview experience room, which was first introduced to Sookmyung Women＇s University＇s campus last semester. The VR experience, which allows virtual interviews in an environment similar to actual interviews, was well received by prospective job seekers who felt uncomfortable with 1:1 interview with a consultant.

The event also included a variety of other programs such as resume photo shoot, special lectures in preparation for NCS aptitude test jointly held by the Career Development Center and the Federation of Middle Market Enterprises of Korea, overseas employment presentation, National Health Insurance Corporation employment presentation, special lectures on employment strategies for public enterprises, etc.
